Cause

On the sidewalks, in the alleys, and on every hidden corner of our planet millions of children tried to sleep last night… cold, hungry, alone and exposed to predators. Every day the number grows as more children struggle for survival by fighting for scraps of food and searching for warm, safe place to sleep. These children are forced to live in an adult world attempting to avoid the many dangers of living alone on the street. Often times they fail.
Many of these children are on the streets because their parents are dead or at best are helpless and dying. Some are unwanted by their families. Others are abandoned. The street offers some an escape from the abuse they endured at home. Children are often sent to work on the streets to beg, steal, or find odd jobs to make extra money to send home to their impoverished families.

What is shocking is that we still tolerate this reality:
150 million children live and die on the streets of our world every year.

We passionately believe that people will do something about this tragedy when they become aware of the problem. We hope these facts will motivate you to get involved as well. Now that you have this knowledge you’ll find it impossible to ignore.

Please consider joining us in the fight for these children that have been forgotten and ignored by the world around them. Help us create a world where this indifference will no longer be tolerated. Help us change this tragic reality and find a way to protect these children by placing them into homes. Homes that promise love, care, support, education and a reason to hope for a better future. Help us give them a chance to walk away from a life of abuse, deprivation, neglect, crime and pain.

There is a way for everyone to get involved. What’s important is that you get involved now. Together, we can make a difference!

We Continue to Fight…

-    Until there are no children living on the streets of our world
-    Until all children have a home and a family
-    Until no child dies alone
-    Until no child dies from starvation
-    Until no child dies from a preventable disease
-    Until every child has an opportunity for an education
-    Until every child has a chance for a future and a hope
-    Until every child has the right to live as a child
… Until Then
